YASA
No Fish Sushi
We’re excited to introduce you to Yasa. No Fish Sushi: A vegan, Japanese Peruvian fusion takeaway concept offering “sushi and more.”
What began as an idea during our honeymoon in Chile is now becoming reality. Together with our partner and chef, Carlos Zuñiga, who is joining us from Santiago de Chile, we’ll be testing our future takeaway menu during a special two-week Pop-Up where we will serve a fixed, dine-in menu in a casual setting. We look forward to having you join us as we explore a flavorful menu.

About YASA
Yasa is our vision of a sustainable, fish-free “sushi and more” concept that celebrates taste in new and exciting ways.
Yasa was born from a spark of inspiration during our honeymoon in Chile. While exploring the vibrant food scene in Santiago, we discovered Yasai Izakaya – a vegan Nikkei restaurant created by chef Carlos Zuñiga. We were captivated by the bold flavors, creative combinations, and innovative use of ingredients that redefined our perception of sushi.
In addition to this, we were exposed to the immense amounts of Salmon fishing while traveling in northern Chilean Patagonia and made aware of the damage it has caused to the natural ecosystems in the area. Ending our trip at a vegan sushi restaurant felt like the perfect finale—showing us how one of our favorite dishes could be just as delicious without fish.
We are excited to bring YASA to Zürich - sustainable, healthy and affordable “sushi and more”
